Garampani Wildlife Sanctuary is located in the Karbi Anglong region of Assam. Garampani means 'hot water' in the local language and the sanctuary is famous for its hot springs and waterfalls. And the sanctuary is home to Hoolock gibbons, golden langurs.

Pani-Dihing Bird Wildlife Sanctuary is part of the larger wetland complex located on the southern bank of the Brahmaputra River. Being on flood plains, the region has a flat terrain and is surrounded by the Dishang and Brahmaputra rivers. Most of the area gets submerged during monsoon.

Boreal Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the largest sanctuaries in Assam, known for its tropical moist evergreen and semi-evergreen forests. The sanctuary has a rich diversity of mammals, reptiles, birds and plants. The altitude of this sanctuary ranges from 55 to 1000 meters above sea level.

Deepor Beel is a permanent freshwater lake with a variety of aquatic vegetation. Deepor Lake is the largest of several such lakes or beels in lower Assam. The Basistha and Kalamoni rivers are its main source of water. The sanctuary has a rich population of birds, of which about 150 have been recorded so far.

Marat Longri Wildlife Sanctuary is located south west of Karbi Anglong. It is an integral part of the Dhansiri Lungding Elephant Reserve. Four reserved forests, Disama, Kaki, Anglongkiri and Miungdisa, make up the sanctuary. and part of the Karbi Plateau and the plains of the Kopili and Diung rivers.
